In case anyone else was suspicious of the 20k file size for a 512x512 PNG with essentially two colors - it's way off. I dropped it into Photoshop and exported as PNG and it spit out an identical file that weighs in at 6k.

What went into your decision making process for using Poisson disc sampling? Did you try other sampling methods? I'd love to know anything else you can share about how the preprocessing works.

It’s worth noting that there are companies who will front you the cash to buy your options and cover tax, in return for a cut of the proceeds. People in this situation have options.

I have almost exactly your use-case and I solved the problem very similarly. I use a lambda to write the events to S3. I have another lambda that can read the files in S3 and produce them to replay. It's designed so I can replay many y

I hate to be this guy but Steve Jobs would have fucking eviscerated the team that produced this. The first time he used the calculator and got 24 instead of 6, he would’ve walked straight to whoever wrote the software and gotten it fixed. T

6x revenue seems like a really high valuation, right? There's a physical product distributed via retail, we aren't talking tech margins. What's the value to Kellogg's? My only guess is that Nutra Grain bars are being des

This is really insightful. Thank you for the thoughtful reply. A lot of my perspective comes from living in a post-GA world. I can see there being value for companies who are reliant on GA and Adwords data for their day-to-day operations -

There are dozens of things like this now, so Google is pretty late to the game. I suspect that the play here is to keep people in the Google ecosystem by competing with Amazon on product offerings. Having looked at a lot of these things, he

At my company we created a queue for Lambdas. The pattern we use is to monitor the execution time left and queue up a follow-up once there's <30s left. Not every job we do can be composed this way but it helps a lot.
