I love how "being American" makes one somehow obsessed with free market and all that other hogwash that is apparently embedded in the hearts and minds of every American. I don't expect anyone to apologize for their place of b

It's worth noting that the "dumb fucks" thing was apparently taken from a Mark Zuckerberg quote.

I love this idea :) As a sidenote, their logo is really similar to Ghost's ( https://ghost.org/ )

I can't say that I know of much off-hand...for me the turning point was actually failing a few classes. That seemed to finally give me the wakeup call I needed to light a fire under me, so to speak. Not that I recommend failing, per se

This, I feel, is the exact story of my childhood...I figured out at somewhere around 6th grade or so that I could get all the same grades w/o doing any of the homework or studying. So I figured, why bother? Fast-forward a few years to

It seems this article was posted in 2013. Not sure where that falls in the Go release timeline, but I'm guessing the version wasn't was far behind then as it seems now. Edit: After a quick search, it looks like Go 1.2 was released

I think they were talking about the author of Python-prompt-toolkit, though I read it that way too at first.

I am with you on this. Though I wish running into the arms of Apple wasn't the answer (was really hoping Ubuntu phone would be an option but that is seeming more and more unrealistic). The fact that the only way to get reasonably-paced

How is it that I don't see anything about this exploit on any of their sites? It's not on the steam store website, not on the Valve site, and not in Valve's news feed.

It actually really evoked some emotion in me, which I would not have felt without being able to erase their logo.. It made me feel connected to the emotions the founders are likely going through right now.

I would disagree. I don't think the "level of conversion" presented in the article is anything to praise. There are very few real arguments presented that are worth discussion.

But I think you've misinterpreted the original comment in the first place. Saying something "is likely to be of use" is not the same as "is empirically true".
