It really shouldn't be. It doesn't take long or much effort to send a quick boilerplate email saying they're not hiring you.

That's a pretty low dose for a daily basis. A single cigarette varies a lot on how much nicotine it has but on average it's around ~12mg and most smokers probably don't smoke a single cigarette a day so 6-8mg is quite low.

They're having supply issues like everyone else. A bunch of their computers are on back order right now. Probably your best bet is to order one now and hope a ton of other people aren't doing the same.

I've been playing DCSS on and off for about 12 years now I highly recommend it to anyone even knowing the learning curve is wildly steep and most people probably won't be able to win without putting in a lot of effort.

Same here. I didn't realize it was still around and not only that the links still open in the apple music desktop app and you can save them in a playlist. Unfortunately doesn't look like they carry over to the phone app but they h

Same. I toyed with a bit for a networking stack but outside of that I haven't found anything super useful. I never went into production with it, the code I re-wrote was definitely cleaner but it wasn't really mind blowingly better

It's quite a bit different experience working on an app by yourself and working on an app that has several hundred thousand lines of code that 10+ people are working on simultaneously. I've worked with a bunch of people that are c

I think trying to re-tool an existing app to be swiftui is a mistake. Replace swiftui with anything and it's a mistake. But swiftui is marketed as a replacement for UIKit and it doesn't seem to work. If I was starting a new app it

This isn't even remotely true unless you're playing at the highest levels of chess. I'm a fairly highly rated player on chess.com and I only know the first few moves of a handful of openings. I end up playing the book moves a

As someone who produces electronic music I kind of dig the limitations of the op-1. At a 2k price point though with those limitations in mind I can't justify the price. Even at ~1300 or whatever the old model is going for I can't

You don't need to give your phone number to enable 2FA on github. They'll annoy you every few months to give them your phone number as a backup but you don't need to do that. I hope it's never required either.

by tarentel 4y ago
In my case it wouldn't anyway. Almost all of my 2FA is tied to my password manager as well. I am sure I am not alone in this. It is kind of scary to think about though.

I've been using Spectacle for a while now, https://github.com/eczarny/spectacle , it seems to be less feature rich than some of the alternatives other people posted but it's free and works well for what I need
