I haven't used Edge in a while and opened it the other day. I'm absolutely shocked at the amount of garbage that's in there. Open up the hamburger menu, you'll see games, shopping comparisons, etc. It feels like 90s adwa

I think for me, this was most evident in the Stadia disaster. Bad tech (requires a Linux port), bad and unclear business model (Stadia Pro vs regular, buying games, Founders Edition hardware), required a weird custom Chromecast, and Sundar

That's basically all there is to it. I'm using GitLab CI, pulling the official buildah image from quay.io. Everything worked on the second try (after appending docker.io/) for about a dozen "core" container builds.

I actually just switched my CI pipelines from Docker to Buildah this week to avoid using an old version of docker-dind and drop permissions on my build containers. It was incredibly easy. The arguments are exactly the same, so it was just a

Are Okta users not serious about identity?

You're misunderstanding the above post and conflating it with a MFA authentication method. If you use another authentication provider, Google does not authenticate you at all - your provider does (Okta etc).

Thinking out loud from a DR perspective, I would directly call or email my account manager. Issues like that are direct contact, you don't go through a central support system. Worse case scenario, if my Workspace account is somehow loc

This seems...wrong? I spend tens of thousands a month on GCP. If we were somehow locked out I would immediately raise hell with my account manager. Who is spending that kind of money and doesn't have one?

This post is over a year old. Requiring Manifest v3 has been indefinitely postponed. There are arguments for using Firefox, but if people keep crying wolf about Manifest v3 before it hits and has a negative impact, especially over such a lo

I'm actually kind of curious about this. I will be keeping a smartphone or tablet out of my kid's hands for as long as possible. Most games on the App Store seem designed to sell microtransactions and not just, be a fun game. I&#x

They have a pretty poor safety record with regard to Autopilot/FSD, not to mention way too many controls are behind a tablet interface that you should not look at while driving. It also implies I'm endorsing Musk and I'd be e

I will never buy a Tesla, but the CCS network is pretty garbage in the U.S. right now. EA regularly has outages, their newer models (which I have not used) fry vehicles or fail in cold weather, I've only heard bad things about EVGo but

For a desktop, I've had a wonderful experience with Fedora Workstation. They're up-to-date while remaining stable, have a policy of working with upstream, and don't do any real customization to KDE/GNOME. I am mildly pee
