I love Amazon and will continue to use their store. Just adding some balance here. I don’t immediately watch a clip and decide to protest.

Yeah it’s still robotic, I just tried. When enunciating long conjugate parts of a sentence such as “A long windy snow filled country road”, it doesn’t know that this is a one set of adjectives describing a country road. It’s a dead give awa

And let’s talk about deaths due to cold weather? I’m all for conserving the climate. The doom and gloom has been media’s staple for over 50 years. Now, it’s taking on the vibes of “We’ll all die if you don’t adopt authoritarianism. We want

It’s socialism under disguise. Gov props up various institutions to create jobs programs. Some of these are OK, but yes, I don’t want my tax payer funds in any culture stuff. In America, we have so much money dumping into bullshit DEI progr

Yea, totally OK except they have to ask me first. Telemetry has huge implications and it can be literally anything. Photos captured by a webcam can be “telemetry”, manf can always say we were verifying our image sensor calibration.

Yeah, basically it needs to be Turing complete but it falls short. Then why not just give us Lua or some real programming language. There is no real need for a cryptic single line syntax.

Very much agree, I do wonder how can things like crontab be specified? The cron job syntax is its own fricking thing that I have to always look up. But then, I wonder, how else can it be specified? yaml file?

Except that in this case we have a reason to discriminate against asylum seekers: ITAR and highly sensitive military tech. There is absolutely zero reason to sue SpaceX except for political hitpoints.

That's not my argument though. A precise targetted case like this is rare. It is entirely political, has no bearing in rationality.

Yes, we need IDs to make sure they’re US citizens or green card holders in order to vote. How else would you know? We don’t check IDs to do the most basic thing that holds democracy together. The rest of the world requires ID to vote.

This types of lawsuits are NOT common. This is an extremely political prosecution by the DOJ. They know what they’re doing. Let’s not normalize this as common occurrence.

All of these institutions have been hijacked. Not just DOJ. We have lost where the north star is. My steel man argument is that Democrats are doing this for votes.
