I can actually blame my car for an accident if it didn't respond to my brake press. The hammer can be blamed if the head flew off mid-swing striking my finger instead of the nail. The tool can be the source of your issue if its not ma

Hulu is heavily influenced by cable providers and the cable business model is being forced on it.

That was the most ridiculous propaganda I've heard in a while. It would be like calling alcohol "weaponized water".

They look like a bunch of kids pretending to play Call of Duty in real life. Wearing masks, guns drawn, breaking doors, and all of it is not even necessary. They could have sent one detective to go talk to them.

I got all that too, East Asian Music in particular was pretty confusing. The rest could have come from stuff like my wife using my computer after me.

It just requires opening the video. The average user will probably open a video from an unknown sender without thinking twice because why would a video message hack their phone. I would imagine given that it controls phones it would also

With most manufacturers you do good to get updates after 6 months. I'd like to see a class action on it but have no idea of its feasibility.

Scala's compilation time is not an excuse to write ugly hard to maintain code in Java 8. If you don't like Scala compilation time then write Java 8 but keep it idiomatic and easy to read don't drag parts of Scala into it tha

It'll be a very long time before we could reach any other planet. We may kill ourselves off long before its even a possibility for us to get spacepox.

Hard to read in comparison to Scala. It's impressive that it was accomplished but some things just aren't meant to happen in Java 8.

That's my feelings exactly after using angular, just too much to wrap my head around, and I actually wasted my time wrapping my head around it. I've since just gone back to using jQuery but mixin Bacon.js and Underscore I can writ

The modern Apache fires its weapons from so far away there is no hope of hitting it with a machine gun. Those things are probably the most high tech the Army has, it can communicate with a drone miles ahead of it, that will transmit back t

The code for the Mario demo has a signal every 1/25th of a second due to the (fps 25) function call in it. I'm not entirely sure why its updating more on keyboard, I just started using Elm but it could be related to the demo combi

I really hate that we use so many analogies when teaching programming. A programming language is not an instrument. Its a language that lies somewhere between logic, math, and actual spoken language. When I was learning guitar, it wasn

I'll take a stab at this one. The CIA/NSA/Government is setting up Javascript for failure (to save all of us sane programmers). Eich is just the next in their list to discredit and undermine Javascript's leadership.

Try chromecast. Find a show on the apps mobile client, send it to your tv. Works pretty good with standard Chrome on a laptop as well. It's cheap enough that even if you don't like it, your not out that much money.
