There has to be limitations to the use and distribution of data. E.g. sensitive topics should be disallowed to be tracked. Otherwise, personalized ads are great. They make our lives immeasurably richer by enabling a free internet. They make

I remember a debate a couple of years ago where some woke scientists were arguing men and women brains are indistinguishable. Others were saying there are distinguishing features. This kind of analysis may put an to that debate. Edit: This

College is a mix of virtue signaling, a proof of analytical and other abilities, a learning environment. Employers want smart and capable people, best colleges produce the smartest and often most capable people. Roughly speaking there'

I thought this is very cute. Playing these as chords or arpeggios, then adding other features to put them together to form a melody or chord progression, then hearing the effects would be super cool.

I (or any math noob) can easily understand the pigeon hole principle. His more detailed arguments about max, avg and a bunch of other stuff is more obtuse and harder to follow. IMO, pigeon hole principle, where applicable, wins this argumen

Ray Peat is an interesting researcher. His ideas tend to be original (as in he does his own research & analysis). Yet, I find a lot of things in his writings that don't gel with my research or the broader research. Namely, he does

Google will definitely be on this list. Great tooling. Great SW development culture. Strict requirements on code quality. Mandatory testing. Mentorship and continuous reviews for writing good code.
