The Racket implementation for protocol buffers. The generated code is just an S-Expified version of protobuf source files, all macros which generate actual protobuf implementation at runtime lol. I don't know why I was surprised. http

Amazon wants to keep some leverage against Google by having data Google doesn’t know about regarding who is buying what. So amazon don’t include product info in gmail invoices since that gives the data to Google. amazon is not worried about

It is the crux. There’s a latent belief that all reality can be measured objectively in controlled environments. There’s reasons why this cannot be true both inside and outside the scientific realm. For one, scientific progress couldn’t exi

Are you using gmail or a different email service? I’m curious if this is really a US-Germany thing or if it’s just a Gmail/Google thing.

Which details? In Canada, all I get is Your Amazon Order #foobar. No product name, no product image. No CC info (even last 4). The address only lists the city name; no street name or street number. There's a full price in the email. Th

Cool! some early feedback: - Very hard for me to find the play button.. took like 10s of looking. I looked at the segment buttons - Accidentally, I got some really cool sounds by mashing the play button to overlay it. Not sure why it gets d

You’re down. I want to see your site! When can I see it? And your domain is really cool too. I presume it’s like a self deprecating math joke.

I don't know how this exactly fits, but you can do crazy stuff like query a SQL db in the compiler to check your Racket program for auto generated variable names. This extends the editor tooling to highlight names which don't matc

I believe the long term bet is that retail winner(s) will use e-commerce search data to inform product development. It's a well known Amazon play and other retailers are trying to catch up. Other retailers will also sell ads on their s

There was 12 notes in Western music before 12 equal divisions. This Mozart piece played in mean-tone temperament (historically accurate) has better tensions and resolutions than the equal tempered version. https://www.youtube.com

This doesn’t pass the sniff test for me. A language interpreter with downloading remote code abilities is basically a new web browser. Maybe doesn’t use HTTP/HTML/JS, but has similar dynamic abilities. That’s what apple doesn’t wa

The name SQLite isn't Sequel-lite. It's S.Q.L.-ite akin to graphite or Levite. It means a thing of SQLy stuff. The creator says it like Escue Ell-ite emphasis on the Es- and -ite. [0] https://youtu.be/Jib2AmRb_rk?t
