You'd have 1 table per sum type which requires extra data. Then polymorphic foreign key (aka a pair of fields school_type, school_id). (No foreign key constraints, but those are falling out of use in some cases due to inability to onli

How does credit play into the cost of new housing? Do you mean that it's more difficult to secure a loan for new house building supplies than it is to get a mortgage on an existing home?

I'm curious people's thoughts about the housing cost political equilibrium/cycle idea. Here's the theory: Cost of housing is a major issue for voters. Home owners, especially new home owners, want their homes to increase

Wouldn't this drop housing prices for existing home owners? As much as I agree with you, I don't think people who are left with expensive mortgage payments for a house worth 1/2 the original purchase price are gonna consider

This is equivalent to an association list (aka alist) which is a technique which goes back to JAM. (define xs `(foo (bar ,1) (baz ,0))) (second (assoc 'bar (rest xs))) ;; 1 (define (prop xs k) (second (assoc k (rest xs))

SQLite is quite famous for new developers as the default db in Rails and Django. There's a widespread misconception that SQLite is a toy DB and that it's necessary to switch to a real DB like Postgres or MySQL. I suspect this fuel

Out of interest's sake, are there other vitamins missing from your diet which beef liver would provide? maybe B12? Very interesting info though, worth trying out. Anecdotally, I can share that I got a nice sleepy/focused/calm

Are you saying the FBI doesn't inquire to FB about chats for reasons? It seems to be the status quo in US, Russia, China at least. Why tolerate it there, while not tolerating it in smaller countries too?

Seems like some beef liver + 125g of sunflower seeds per day covers vitamins A, E, K, B12, and also magnesium. It doesn't seem impossible to eat a diet to cover everything. But it seems very difficult to do it properly by mistake.

Here's the uncommon opinion. Google/FB, by extension US government, already performs mass surveillance. There are actually 2 solutions to this problem. One is stopping Google/FB. The other is making mass surveillance more com

The problem with Django services is the insanely low concurrency level compared to other server frameworks (including node). Django is single request at a time with no async. The standard fix is gunicorn worker processes, but then you requi
