Amazon wants to keep some leverage against Google by having data Google doesn’t know about regarding who is buying what. So amazon don’t include product info in gmail invoices since that gives the data to Google. amazon is not worried about fastmail selling the data to Google, so amazon is willing to include product info in emails to fastmail addresses. That’s the conspiracy theory, anyways :)
