I don’t like Meta but what is the alternative? Forcing them to provide the service for free? To me : either you consent to let us make money using your data, or you agree to pay the service with your money or you stop using the service. See

Probably because iOS is taking a 30% cut, so they just put the price higher on mobile.

Probably the gender theory thing. In 100 years I think people will laugh to the idea that we once debated whether men could be pregnant or not.

I am all for people to join a union, but I am personally against it, I don't want to be part of something like this, it's contrary to my personal beliefs. Also, no, I don't think you will get red flagged everywhere for such a

You can try "Chakra UI" it does have HStack, VStack components and is quite intuitive. You can also use Radix UI

Quite the opposite I think it will hype down and up again. I think LLM are too costly, and their usefulness are limited (you can’t use it for writing, because it’s trained with good texts as well as horrible texts) They are slow to update,

The only two options are working for a Chinese company or getting married (other options are available but they are not within reach) I don't want to work for a Chinese company, but we will likely get married. As for the 4-5 years, I d

I don't extensively follow the news, my long time girlfriend is Chinese, so we talk about it randomly, but I don't live in China at the moment. I am planning to move to China next year, will likely spend 4-5 years there, but China

I don't see any correlations between your comment and mine. I never claimed they were not oppressed, I just said that they did commit terrorist attacks in the past (and the media that talks about the Uyghurs issue, never mention it). I

From my own experience : 1. China, like Singapore and London, have mass surveillance. You do have a lot of cameras. China takes it a bit further in a sense that when you go to some places like "signing up for a gym" they will ask

No, I still don’t believe in AI being able to produce things by itself. The human using the AI will need to articulate the exact things he wants. That’s exactly what programming is all about. But I am sold on the idea of AI being a good cop

I have studied and live in China for a couple of years, I kept many friends there. You can’t have 40 years of rapid growth without any consolidation at some point, but I think it’s exaggerated. The news reports are way too sensationalist

I would say Feedly. I am invested in this RSS feeder, I know the keyboard shortcuts, I am subscribed to Newsletter, Tweeter users, and I am using their AI to filter/aggregate. I use Feedly both for my own curiosity and creating content

My general feeling is that no matter what platform, if you can indeed provide a solution that help professional save time, and you market it well, they will likely pay for it. That’s just capitalism 101. As long as your solution is cheaper

We need to reduce world population. Converging toward 12,000,000,000 is the tragedy of the commons. Everything else is micro gains.

My weekends are organized the same ways as my weekdays (minus the meetings). I wake up without an alarm, take a quick shower, open my notebook and write down the tasks I would like to accomplish for the day. I then get to work. I will take

It's not going to happen. I am not into transhumanism. Modifying humans genetics. But guess what, there will always be a country that allows it to get a competitive advantage. If the US ban LLM. China, Korea, Russia will probably not.
