I don't extensively follow the news, my long time girlfriend is Chinese, so we talk about it randomly, but I don't live in China at the moment.
I am planning to move to China next year, will likely spend 4-5 years there, but China is becoming more hostile towards foreigners compared to when I was living there (2016-2017)
- pitakap7 3y agoHello, are there barriers to working and living in China? I'm also considering this option. Which city is more friendly as far as you know? Why don't you consider staying long but only for 4-5 years?
- soueuls 3y agoThe only two options are working for a Chinese company or getting married (other options are available but they are not within reach) I don't want to work for a Chinese company, but we will likely get married. As for the 4-5 years, I don't know, I have never made plans that far in my life, it's just a random number that would allow me to become fluent in the language and experience the country rather well. I think both of us wants to spend some time in Eastern Europe as well, we will see
