Is this really something a technologist could take on? Apple could almost certainly copy and improve any hot new tech before it has time to seriously hurt their bottom line. They have a ton of resources... My guess is that only another Appl

That’s a good point. Though most of the people I’ve talked to about edibles are young people in California. So I suspect their experiences have been with legal edibles bought at dispensaries.

Oh that's interesting. I thought the linked review study was what they were referencing. Why would they reference a study as the basis for the entire article without linking to it? .-. This really seems like bad journalism for the sake

I wish I could read the study but it is paywalled. The author of this article calls it "a new study of almost 7 million health records" but really it's a review of 20 other studies. So I wonder how they came up that number. A

Agreed, it's surprising to me that I've met many people who claim that edibles are terrible/terrifying. They often don't know how much they took and if they do it's usually way too much for the first time. I suspect

The author of this port has written about how it was done. They have found enough debug data to do a full decompilation I think.

I'm sure plenty of Venezuelans are running bots. It seems that manual gold farming is done because it's less likely to result in bans. If they're patient enough to make it to end game content before selling the gold they migh

Yeah, that's the tricky part. There are some unbelievably dedicated OSRS players that will do high intensity (1+ action per second) stuff for several hours a day. So how do you differentiate those from bots? I suspect that machine lear

I think it's because space isn't a perfect vacuum. The interstellar medium is a mix of gas and dust that slow down and weaken the signal. That effect is known as dispersion. With that said, it seems like the article might be inacc

This is true if your end goal is to have a super fast program but that is very rarely the case. The GTA online loading times issues went unnoticed for years because Rockstar just didn't care that the loading times were long. Users stil

It's a bit odd to be skeptical that self driving cars won't ever be mainstream. Computers have only been a thing for ~78 years and yet they're already capable of doing so much.
