What is this supposed to be? I familiar with Svelte and HTMX but I don't understand from any of the documentation here what PrimateJS is.

I love Go but Rails is just unmatched in terms of development velocity. You're right that Go eschews magic and embraces verbosity but in doing so it makes common tasks, like web development, take 10x longer than languages that do the o

Well in a lot of cases the model is writing code that can't even be run (the red dots). Feeding it the compilation error can be done automatically and it will usually be able to at least get it running.

It says it can use USB-C for power delivery but the only USB-C port is on the front of the device. Makes it seem like they expect most people to power it via the barrel plug. Also, the APU used here is already fairly outdated for a mini PC.

I'm very skeptical of their "North Star". They want the "lifetime earnings" of individuals to increase by 100x their investment. Isn't it extremely difficult to even measure this metric? That is something that

Yes, they let go 130 employees a couple of months ago. They're also a company whose remote pay is dependent on location. So they're unwilling to pay people what they're actually worth.

Most of the savings from cost cuts go back to the company. The buyer in this case gets a highly degraded experience with negligible savings.

Sorry but I seem to have misunderstood the capabilities of WebGL 2. I had read that WebGL 2 was OpenGL ES 3.0 and that “OpenGL 4.3 provides full compatibility with OpenGL ES 3.0”. Which means OpenGL ES 3.0 can run in an OpenGL 4.3 environme

I think the red flags are: * vague testimonials * scrolling list of companies (with no evidence) * lack of specificity around payments (who's the processor?) * the random face shown above the "contact us" button * the lack of

Do you think it would be possible to reduce the version requirements to OpenGL 4.3 / OpenGL ES 3.0? Then it might possible to port this engine to WebGL2 and WASM and support all platforms via the browser. Maybe that's a silly idea

That's a fine answer. Maybe that should be the answer in the FAQ. The website just felt a bit scam-like to me so I did some more research. Finding out stuff like that, when it isn't clear on the website, only furthers the gut feel

I find your website kinda sketchy. Your FAQ claims that the company was founded in 2007 but that's not true. meteocentrum.cz was founded in 2007 but this company didn't appear until 2021. meteosource.com also appears to be a rebra

How does the "hyper-local" computation work if all the sources are very generalized? Does that mean when your service says there's an 89% chance of rain at my location that's an actual, local probability?

I'm surprised nobody has mentioned MaximumFun. It's worker owned co-operative podcast network with some really great shows. I'd recommend trying some of their stuff out if you're looking for something fresh.

"there are few SREs for hire" How do you figure? If you mean there are few SRE with several years of experience you might be right. SRE is a fairly new title so that's not too surprising. However, my experience with a recent
