In theory it shouldn't matter whether my security expertise is in-house or I pay some external party to provide it, right? You are not paying an external party to come by and secure all your servers/applications — you are paying for a ser

With an unlocked phone you can resell it. I bought an unlocked iPhone 3GS in January and paid a premium, but I will probably sell it this summer, if I can get an unlocked iPhone 4G.

It is fairly easy to setup a US LLC, see e.g. https://www.delawareinc.com/ (they’ll handle all the paperwork for around $450). This will give you an Employee Tax Identification Number (EIN) which can often be used instead of SSN. Note tho

If you throw a signal into the public, you don't then get to decide how people use it Depends… I can only speak for my own country (Denmark) where we do have rules about what information others are allowed to record and permanently store.

Some of us like to be in control of our data and/or not pay others for what is essentially free. Also, I am not sure how third party email sending services can avoid having me setup a SPF record — as for the PTR record, it’s a good thing to
