It’s not that the DB servers can’t handle it, it’s that establishing a connection is slower than re-using an existing one. You also forgo certain optimizations within the DB designed to make fetching things for the given connection/sco

Thanks, but I think this is very different from connection pooling on a DB, say pdbouncer. Doing some searching, I did find this that seems much closer: http://blog.rowanudell.com/database-connections-in-lambda/ TLDR;

Really wish "serverless" also meant that it can work with AWS Lambda efficiently. As is, each function would try to open a connection, making the overall overhead extremely high and stressing DBs.

It’s absolutely not fine if your customers are already paying you specifically to connect to Netflix, which is an extremely common use and why we have the bottleneck in the first place. The imbalance of the traffic has little to do with wha

Chassis are definitely similar, but specs do not line up at all. Screen is full HD for these versus 3200x1800 for System76 for example. System76 seems to be cheaper too.

That's not where I was going with this and I'll respectfully disagree with your statement because in a society, there has to be a balance between conflicting interests. If what is good for me will cause harm to you, societies gene

That's the point I was trying to make - it doesn't exist and laws at best convey the ethic that the majority does not care to oppose at the time of enactment.

Can any attorney with knowledge of fair housing weigh in on this? Law quotes states that the ad cannot say these things, but the publishing of an ad in a medium targeted based on these seems like a relatively new ground, since the ad itself

Sure there is. It all depends on what we, as society, value. So long as the market exists and is supported by enough people it continues. If society decides it no longer collectively finds a given market acceptable (not in the legal sense n
