That doesn’t sound right. For all of human history bullies who were bigger and stronger made the rules. The weak were ostracized. If anything, what you’re doing in homeschooling is reverting away from the norm and creating a sheltered envir

Do we know how the different cells self organize, know where to form folds, parts and depressions and what the boundaries are?

Why are they a nuisance? The only thing I can think of is that they might hunt someone’s backyard chickens. Otherwise they control rodent, rabbit and snake populations and mostly really just eat a lot of fish.

I think that makes sense but a startup is going to have a hard time delivering something better between now and January if they start from scratch. But maybe I’m wrong, it might be a purely software based problem that can be solved quicker.

This just sounds like school. I guess the difference is you can be very selective with what you teach and pick your own curriculum, especially if you’re a fundamentalist religious person and don’t agree with what most schools teach.

It feels like Apple has solved this problem with the Vision Pro? So just wait for a couple more months?

What’s your point though? You’re picking an arbitrary cutoff time based on what? The intention is still disruption. Thirty minutes is nothing. We don’t classify severity of crimes based on how long they take to accomplish. A murder is a mur

You could disable a diverter in 5 seconds with a sledge hammer. Also your linked video is splitting along the length of the rail instead of cutting directly across it which would take minutes if not seconds.

This is not wearing a shirt though. This is people deliberately causing disruptions by putting a traffic cone, universally recognized as a traffic warning, in front of the vehicles. A lot of regular people would think twice about what to do

That’s stupid. You could park a golf cart on the train tracks and it would shut down all train transport for hours. You could cut out a piece of the rail very easily (with an angle grinder) and it would cause dozens of deaths and shut down

According to this Indian government report, 110 million toilets and 2.23 million community toilets were built between 2014 and 2019 under the clean India drive begun in 2014. All states reported open defecation free in 2019. Coverage estima

Nonsense, the toilet issue has been resolved for the most part. Your arguments are from 2012.

What’s so hard about this? You get the picture and you post it on the website. If you have the text all ready to go, you update the prisoner number and it’s trivial to hit the upload button.

Refugees are trying to flee to a developed country with healthcare, jobs and safety. Why would you want to go to Rwanda? I realize it has improved by leaps and bounds but very few people are going to want to emigrate to an African country.

Well you just sold me on reading Ken’s books. Out of curiosity, who was the father figure in cuckoo’s nest? For that matter, who’s the mother, there was no sex as far as I can remember.

If the settlement is doing better than the actual country it is in, it is going to be overrun with locals. The only way to do that would be to fence out the locals and no country is going to agree to that.

I think the general feeling is that even if China continues to rise, “we” don’t really want anything to do with them. Alternatives will be found and China will at the very least be a soft enemy that espouses something we don’t want to be, v

That’s true but it’s never the highly nutritious grasses that cows/goats need like alfalfa, false plantains, millets etc. You would need to heavily supplement their diets, I would imagine.

It’s not just that, immigrants are massive job creators. Out of the top 500 billion+ dollar unicorns in the US, 51% were started with by an immigrant. 66 of those 500 companies had atleast one Indian cofounder.

Ukraine is receiving a fraction of our allocated defense budget. It’s also strange to hear it described as “war making” rather than defense against an aggressor. Kind of betrays your motivations.

We’re looking and can’t find something that lasts more than two weeks. It’s going to take something drastic to drop those prices since they’re still going up and hopefully it’s before I end up buying a new place.
