Same here. I haven't done frontend in a few years now but I was shocked when the top comment was saying most people don't even use Yarn 2. I had no idea Yarn was past 1.x.

I find it extremely appropriate that high concentrations of capsaicin in a chili manifest as little pointy spikes, which is why anything from a ghost pepper and up looks extremely mean.

I didn't watch a lot of House MD but I believe I know what's being referred to. There was an arc where House was administered ketamine as part of a treatment for his leg and he started walking without his cane, suggesting that his

I checked, Amazon does indeed sell tiny violins. They are keychains that make sounds. Unless there's a claim here that the FTC is working directly for, say, Walmart, everyone else benefits from Amazon being brought down a handful of pe

Seems like a reasonable speculation. The ability to smell that asparagus smell in urine is also genetic, if I remember correctly.

Now I'm curious. Why do you suppose the render loop's performance was so important to the React team, then? It surely wasn't for no reason, and I'm not going to be convinced that React is more complex "just because.

Browns (and Clears, my preference) are pretty darn loud in my experience despite being only tactile and not also clicky. You can help with O-rings, but I agree with the above commenter that silent switches are probably an ideal solution. We

No, they paid a service to do some of the more fiddly work for them. I use the same service, but for just federal, and they are upfront about state filings costing $15 rather than surprising you at the end like Intuit/TurboTax.

A single person cannot guard 15 acres of crops. The arrogance is the assumption that the farmers are so stupid that they didn't even try this "simple solution" that would never work.

Because it's a relatively safe level of risk compared to, say, 4chan's /b/. People love to dabble in risk in safe ways. I'd argue that's what many genres of fiction are explicitly for, e.g. horror, violent game
