Oh man it was super-disappointing and the end of my willingness to buy WoTC 5E. You'd be better off with the originals from DriveThru.

I suspect that is by-in-large the point of the US de-regulatory project. If one deconstructs the state to the point of ineffectiveness then its existence is largely pointless and reasonably easy to discard for a newer state. Of course this

Does anyone else find it a little weird that the Great Salt Lake is shown on the map but Lake Champlain and Lake of the Woods are not?

If you're interested in this kind of general book in this this genre; I'd also recommend The Perfectionists by Simon Winchester. It's flawed in the back third but the balance of the book is an entertaining read. https:/

This is a very high quality comment and I suspect will capture many parents’ feelings. Something that shocks me, even as an experienced parent, in caring for two small children is how physically and mentally tired I am at the end of the day

Assuming the density of superchargers and other comparable infrastructure can/does increase this feels basically fair. I assume this is a nose under the door for all other forms of junk fees and in and of itself will be abused long-ter

Makes sense that Hyundai is willing to do this. Their dealer network is not particularly strong and the experience on the ground is not great. That said I (know I’m a minority) will miss the haggling opportunity if car e-commerce takes off.

As I noted above the why is cost and reducing the number of weapons systems (absent cost benefit, still a net positive). Shell game for the US deterrent has been considered for some time.

I do think the land-based deterrent could be regenerated as a mobile shell-game style force. The Chinese are clearly adopting this strategy and it would reduce the overall material and munitions costs/requirements while still requiring

IANAL, and perhaps you are but I don’t believe it is 100% legal. Seems like a matter of degree. What the parent is describing could reasonably be construed as illegal signaling and/or pricing collusion if the market is itself the mecha

This reminds me a lot of the Airline Tariff Publishing Company case in the 90s. Airlines used an industry marketplace to price fix and were successfully enjoined from doing so. I would not be surprised if in many industries similar behavior
