When I was in Oslo a few years ago, every third car was a Tesla for whatever reason. Considering I haven't heard of too many catching fire there, I'd wager it should be fine.

And just for clarity, it's not proper Visual Studio, but rather an updated MonoDevelop. Was missing quite a lot of functionality (for Unity/C#) compared to VS, so I used Rider instead.

I wasn't aware of the business model, merely that it's conceptually similar, if a bit "web 3.0" in implementation. Not sure it's any worse than browsing with an ad blocker, in which case the websites get 0 revenue,

Fair enough, I am not advocating for that project, but it is close in spirit to what was described in the parent comment. Aside from that, I personally do not see the issue with being able to opt into automatic crypto payments for browsing

Brave browser does something similar with its attention tokens, which by default get allocated* depending on your time split between sites. *provided the site supports it, unsure what the process for that is. Some really weird ones do, like

MyPy provides static analysis that uses the type hints to actually, well, do things with it. Type hints are the specification, but MyPy|PyLance|Pyright|Pyre use those hints for and type checking.

With the passionate hatred both languages inspire, I'm not sure which is which in your statement. One could argue C++ gets even more done, since it is appropriate for use in more contexts, like firmwares/drivers, native SDKs, game

Most people would struggle to finish a meal with half those calories, and rightly so - it's excessive. Strongmen could go over that amount a day when bulking, maybe, and that's about the semi-practical limits of the human body (wh

I've had Infosys and TCS reach out to me, and when pressed for salary figures said the upper end was a half of my current salary, and this is in Australia. I'm not even on a particularly high salary, could have gotten a ~30% pay r

Hindi in the cities is interesting, it can turn into a 50-50 blend of English and Hindi, with English used for most nouns, and sentences strung together with Hindi otherwise. Having said that, actual conversational skills in English were la

From personal experience, I've heard plenty of caste-based insults when I was there a decade or so ago, as well as other forms of prejudice. This manifests most explicitly when it comes to marriages I think, but it would be naïve to as

The very peculiar capitalisations in that page just seem very... Twitter. It's like a passive form of rebelling against the actual rules selectively, and capitalising random words they deem important. Fair enough Twitter doesn't h

Ubisoft have about 5 engines themselves. When Microsoft acquires Acti-Blizz, they'll have close to a dozen engines under their umbrella as is, I think. UE being picked up by a AAA studio is news, because gamers associate UE with extrem

You can build the engine within 15 minutes? That doesn't sound right, unless you've got 32/+ cores and a LOT of RAM. Dunno what a P620 is, so that may be the case.

More relevant than Godot was at a similar age. Just look at the partners, for example. If the engine picks up steam, could easily see it becoming huge - at least as a base for in-house forks for studios. https://www.o3de.org/
