That's a very bold statement, what has Godot done to warrant it? It's not even the most advanced open source 3D engine right now, considering O3DE (a fork of CryEngine) is open and backed by a fair few big players.

What is there to disagree? Companies did sign up with Chinese shells etc too, but staying there is tricky as well. This just shows they are happy enough to provide yet another government with a backdoor to your data. I'm not surprised,

Oh I thought Australia was bad. Indonesia might as well just have permanent read-only access to the companies they allow, should the companies give in. I'm going to guess these rights will be abused big time for favours and corrupt g

You really think this is the government looking out for you? Sounds to me like they are working towards Chinese style 'comply with the government or GTFO' for all outside businesses. Except the Indonesian market is much smaller th

Helps to read what people are saying before commenting on it. Also helps to not double down on mistaken readings with petty comments like this.

But why does a phone that's under a year old already struggling?! Mine just gives up on connecting to things, WebView is absolutely broken, and the daily UX is just me rebooting it 5-10 times a day. Stupid.

No I do not have the time nor interest to read about every ROM group. I just want a relible, usable phone, and do not experience safety concerns that would warrant preferring a less convenient experience. I don't think most people do,

My bank decided to abandon their own payment solution in favour of GPay, and the neo-bank or two I do use also uses GPay, while I don't actually have physical cards for these. In short, not using GPay is not an option. > it is more

There's not a single screenshot of the operating system I could see, and I need to unlock the phone and all so assuming this is a custom ROM. Usually you lose access to things like GPay or certain NFC functionalities, and end up with a

That's a community effort, and from previous experiences some pretty random things can be broken, but if the contributors don't care, they won't even look into it. It's fine, but it's not an alternative to actual up

The Pixel 6 Pro has been update to become a pile of hot trash in my case. The updates have been so bad I'm returning it this weekend, while I received a perfectly functional hone... I'm sure some will appreciate the (security) upd

At least in the Pixel 6's case, it's 5 years of security updates, not OS updates. IE nothing but the very critical updates beyond 2-3 years.

I think one possible reason is colours have become more plentiful, so it's harder to match now. If there's 4 blues to pick from, you're likely to be able to deck out your entire kitchen in matching hues. If there's 50 bl

When your build scripts require the power of a full-blown programming language, I do have to wonder what catastrophe lead to such complications! I'm sure there's a reason for it and all, but it's just not something I will dea

So would you say they are just not web scale yet?! They seem to be serving millions of books per month on a cheap VM. For once a smaller website didn't crash upon hitting the front page, so I don't really see any problems here.

Sure, but the fact that it was a project at all does imply Swift had a not-insignificant speedup vs Python, meanwhile in these benchmarks Python is about2x the speed of Swift.

Till recently, Go lacked generics. Aside from that, it has a GC that is pretty nice to work with. Manual memory management is semi-supported, using C interop instead of native language constructs (from when I last looked into it).

I know that's the case for ints, but in this case [0] the int was cast to a boolean, which I thought would ensure comparisons would perform as expected, but no such luck. [0] https://www.onlinegdb.com/tfHPZ_FOfY
