It's true that Kivy's widgets are not native and Qt's are. Would that be a sufficient reason for you to not use the app?

Ubuntu is my main development platform. To be honest I've had some doubts about targeting Linux for my app because I don't know how many devs are using Linux as their OS for development, but I hope I'm not wasting my time.

I was considering Qt but decided to use Kivy[0]. Why do you think I should use Qt? [0] - http://kivy.org

I agree. I'm mainly using Linux so I've started working on a Linux version (also targetting Windows). If you like it you can use Zeal[0], which is free -- works on Linux/Windows. There's a signup page for my app[1] if yo

Allowing him to present your team as his company puts him in control with the client: he'll get more credibility with the client and he will probably be the main communication conduit with the client. If it were me I wouldn't do i

I'm dumbfounded as to why this is on the front page with 0 comments and only 4 points. I couldn't figure out from the link why this is the simplest way to sell digital downloads or how it works :(

I'm not sure what were the datapoints that suggested to them that the UI was in need of an overhaul but I would have been much happier if they lowered the cpu usage of Firefox. To be fair I have a massive number of bookmarks (12000+) a

My point is that there used to be a button that you could place in a toolbar and clicking the button would open the bookmarks sidebar. That button is now gone. I'm sure that in time I'll get used to the changes in australis but I

I'm on Ubuntu, if that makes a difference about the double click on the bookmark star so perhaps it's a platform issue. But I was referring to the bookmarks sidebar not toolbar. How do you open the sidebar?

I, for one, have tried it and it makes things I do frequently, more difficult: there's no longer available a bookmark button to open the bookmarks sidebar, there's no longer a menu item to show all bookmaks, when I bookmark someth

It's all about priorities. If your life really depended on it I'd bet good money you'd find the time to do it. I went to a 10 day Vipassana retreat last august and I'm really glad I did. Sure, I got cold feet and the usu

Don't hire "rockstar" developers. The ones I've worked with ended up being toxic to the team: withholding details from their peers/managers, acting passive/aggressive when asked what they were working on, etc.

It would be helpful for people who might have the course if you had an email address available in your profile. It needs to be in the "about" box, the "email" box is not publicly visible.

I use the Save-To-Read add-on for Firefox. It bookmarks the page I want to a pre-set folder and then I can click a button when I want to start reading (random or chronological order) or I can just cherry pick from the folder.
