Then it is perfectly reasonable to have a closed door for calls. However, even in that case, I would not mind an interruption or two during the call. Any more though, I'd start questioning the role of the caregiver.

Not GP, but there is a sliver of sound logic in the call to put your money where your mouth is. Why not start a charity/non-profit that assists such victims of outsourcing? I'd think unemployment benefits were supposed to do that.
