Office environments today are like minefields. A man never knows when his next step, word, or simple action will be misconstrued as harassment. Hold a door? Thats harassment. Wink ;-) in an email or IM? Thats harassment. Tell an off-color j

This. This so much! My mother worked in the oil industry in the 70s and 80s, and these are the exact things she would say. (talk about male-dominated industry!) Heading off to HR only sweeps the conflict under a bureaucratic rug and never r

No, I don't think that is it. This hyper-sensitivity happens in Europe as well. It is a generational problem, mostly for the mellenials. They have been brought up in a toxic and rigid culture multiculturalism and political correctness.

I will follow this up. I'm guessing that by clean, you mean no porn. However, your search history, even in a professional context, can say a lot about you. 1) Search stack traces on google much? You are probably a developer. 2)

I just finished a deployment using Hashicorp's vault and ansible, but we did it without a module. Do you have a link that references this? Or, if you are interested in what we did I could probably put it into a gist

Funny enough, there I already arc, which is what HN uses. From Wikipedia: Arc is a dialect of the Lisp programming language developed by Paul Graham and Robert Morris. Also, this is the language that drives the HN web app we enjoy daily. h

Story-telling, story-telling, story-telling! You need to take that 9-month sprint (and futher back) and turn that into a story. - What was the startup? - What was the company trying to acheive? - What was your role? - What milesto

Have a look at truecaller. They are a startup out of Sweden with over 300 million users (mostly in India and Asia). Their app is basically a global callerid. Works well on android. iOS has some issues, but it works.

The only correct item here is about Systembolaget -- the state-run liquor store. Everything else is outright wrong. Prices are more, but not 2x or 3x more. And on many mid-priced wines the prices are lower due to buying power. The major cha
