Are you trying to learn or surf youtube on the couch? If they are trying to go application specific for learning I'd rather have a big ass device that kicks ass with textbooks, than suffer a 9" screen. If you compare it to the text book loa

Also happens to me in Chrome. I love the video but I would love it more as a lightbox closer to iPad size.

I'm deeply suspicious of any page provided by any vendor in which all of their tests pass and everyone else is missing some. I think it's really great IE9 is doing HTML5/SVG/CSS3/etc full steam, but I'd much prefer to see where they are fai

I know some folks at City gov, I would _love_ to city a public API for this. So I'm about to stick my oar in. I'll let you know how it goes.

I think the first point is utter hooey. Online advertising is worth less than online for two reasons 1. It's measurable. Unlike print it's not about the number of people who may have seen your ad. Its about the number of people who did, o

There are quite clearly a large number of applications in the app store that only have a business use. Apple have happily allowed them in the app store. I'm sure this is taken out of context.

Is it just me that thinks it's insane that companies can permanently plan to not pay (or pay small) dividends? If market trading is solely based on the ability to resell stock at a higher price how is the market expected to select companies

The current lot of banks seem really dependable, given recent financial history. Perhaps a bank which is based on customer service (in the age of the internet) and being up-front about their policies and how they will invest your money and

I like it the idea a lot. But, you could really do with some performance optimization on that first screen. I think you'll loose a lot of people waiting for their zipcode lookup. If you can't find a way to make that quicker (e.g. caching po

Good article, it gels with my own experience. People often ask me how I manage to stay vegan (especially as I travel a lot). The answer is simple I don't need will-power all day I just need it for the 30 seconds when I'm ordering a meal or

I have a lot of free book but a lot of paid ones too. I bought everything written by Terry Pratchett via Amazon and maybe 30 books from O'Reilly direct from them.

Is this isn't a market, I don't know what is. My experience working with government has been that they really want to engage with citizen but don't know how, and moreover they don't know how to do it at scale in a meaningful way.
