It won't. People were screaming about Tether back in 2017, 4 years, still going strong. Keep in mind, they aren't the only stablecoin in the market now, so even less relevant to the crypto space.

I'd say the current BTC state in this cycle is similar to the beginning of 2017. Regular people are still sleeping on this, not minding it too much. ALTS are barely pumping, compared to the 100x's they did in 2017. BTC will simmer

Let's look at this way, humanity needs to become multiplanetary species to prevent extinction if some sort of cataclysm happens on Earth: nuclear war; Yellowstone erupts, etc. Compared to that, any other problem seems insignificant.
