I've been often thwarted by Gradle's anything-goes syntax (everything is a Groovy program) and obfuscated error messages. Also the switch to Android Studio. Leave an app alone for a month and I can't compile it anymore.

If you want more intrigue, the Swiss Space Systems CEO was kidnapped and severely burned just a few days before the SpaceX incident. Not necessarily a correlation, but points out that you can make enemies in any occupation. https:/&#x

We expect headlines to be "truthy" these days, but this bill does not actually authorize money for any Mars mission. There is no Mars mission. There is policy, and a strategic framework, and a critical decision plan, and a Congres

The inevitable Soviet retaliation would hurt, but it wouldn't wreck the country. We hadn't even begun to seriously research nuclear winter at that point, so we assumed we'd just wait for the fallout to clear and pick up the

I don't know, since those silos were dug in an era when the idea of a winnable nuclear war (i.e. anti-MAD) was a less-radical position. This may just be more whistling past the hypothetical graveyard, which seems distressingly common t

Recent research has shown that nuclear winter after even a limited exchange would be worse than previously thought. We don't know how/if our technological society would bounce back from N billion starvation deaths.
