I wonder how much Netflix has affected restaurant sales. Given the choice between an expensive Sysco bag-o-food and my own cooking + superior bevs + catching up on shows, I know what I usually choose. It's a shame, because it's no

If the membranes are anything like those in watermakers on yachts, they're pricey and gunk up easily.

That's about the going rate, depending on season/days/miles. A vehicle wrap is $1-2k. (Note that you could also buy an older RV for $20k or so and resell it after the trip.)

Here are some quotes from the article: Amazon’s third-party sellers have to offer new books, not used ones, but in many cases they don’t seem to have bought their books from publishers. No one is quite sure where their books come from, inc

For my recent books, there have been third-party sellers that materialize almost instantly, before any of them could have possibly received a copy. They are probably using merchant-fulfillment, where the merchant holds the inventory and is

I think they should measure these ships by underwater volume at time of departure. Underwater volume == weight of the boat. You need a hefty underwater keel in a sailboat, especially a blue-water boat, otherwise the forces on the sail cou
