An approach I did sometime back was to create a generic template kind of an app (in code not published) for B2B that had integrations with ERPs where the bones were finished but the UI was pretty bare so it could be customized for each clie

The thing I liked the most was the person view in how it shows things in real life dimensions, seems much more "personable" to communicate across distances for teams, at least from a non-vr way.

Yes, exactly. The only difference is the visual. Imagine an impossible coin that looks like a pin on one side and when flipped, a large platter on the other where the surface area of a coin's side equals experience in perspective. Then

When you work for very intelligent and driven people, they tend to be disgusted with incompetence or in my case lack of drive, which is the same thing, I noticed. It is completely counter to what they are. This happened to me when I did not

If you are carpenter holding a hammer you see nails. We are programmers so we see user flows. Put the hammer down, clear your mind. Look at what the u̶s̶e̶r̶ person is doing.

Well the part that doesn't sit well with me is the suggestion of addiction in such a light flippant way. It should not be used for the general population just as a drug addiction isn't. We can empathize with true addicts but label

This looks perfect for marketing websites where you get usually static assets and you can simply animate them in a flow easily. Great idea.

I think anything that is good or feels good has that potential of affecting behavior towards it. Using the word "addict" is a cop out to take away personal responsibility. There are true addicts so it should not be used so lightly

Do you believe that we are manipulated to be addicts? There are real addicts with genetic reasons for being so and then there are the rest of us that can control our behavior. Our behavior can be manipulated but we are not going to be addic

This article makes it sound like people are forced to be social addicts. Maybe some of us our outliers here so it may be odd for me to say this but I honestly have spent more time coding social networks than actually using them. So no, I do

It is run by humans after all. Some of these humans, even in their high ranking are just that, humans. I usually avoid those types as they sometimes have an axe to grind and want to take it out on "underlings". My rep is high enou
