Only few of your examples show off these features. I can replicate the rainfall and sales graphs in Excel in less time than it takes me to log in to your service. The heat map on your blog on the other hand looks great - why not replace the

As I see it, you have a problem convincing people of the value of your service, particularly the value over a different solution (i.e. Excel). I like your Video on the Blog page and I'd move this to the first page. However, a scatter graph

I share your concerns for the kick stand and the UV light. Maybe the UV light could be integrated into a docking station? While it's a strange thing to integrate into a phone, some people might value the perceived hygine. Regarding your las

What about curated author pages? Maybe with some information about the author and a list of his books by publishing date. I know, this may be too close to the Mahalo-model, but it could help with your low number of pages to index. You could

Yes. Just think about how much more of these boxes he could sell if he produces them dirt cheap in China. This could easily offset all the negative impacts of shipping etc. He even says himself that if you plant enough trees, an increase in

I agree. Particularly the timelines of news makes a system where older stories slowly fade away useful. I guess it depends on whether useTheSource is supposed to be a "coding news" where you find great stuff accidentally (like hacker news),

Different people are attracted by different things. For one it's the money, for others the environment, culture or challenges. But usually it's a combination of all of these factors. You can't just disregard money as an influencing factor i

Luck is a big part of the appeal of soccer. As with most sports, you usually start rooting for the team that is popular in your area. With a significant reduction of this luck-component, strong teams would dominate the leagues which would i

Sorry for the confusion. It's an 'artifact from a different time' in the sense that you'd use different words today. Not because the copy is sexist (which i still think it isn't) but because you'd try to avoid even the appearance of sexism.

I suppose you object to the phrase "Men who do nothing but think"? While sexism might have been prevalent in most companies during the time of this ad by modern standards, this phrase is not necessarily sexist. Sure, if you'd publish this a

These new UI concepts are always awe inspiring, but what is really the benefit of using them? One of the most popular demonstrations is browsing through a bunch of photos on a huge screen with large gestures. While this looks quite impressi

I completely see your point about the fixed rate. However, the benefit of a flexible plan is that you can lower the price of the initial payment and make a little money every time you are really helping your customers (detecting a no-show).
