This is a great help, I'm using it most of the time. After I got used to it, plain gdb feels incomplete (mostly because rr allows you to reverse-step and reverse-continue even with watch/breakpoints).

The question is too broad to answer with yes or no. If you can come up with slides that make it easier for your audience to follow you, go for it.

I've used the Apple Maps navigation during the last vacation in Spain (rental car did only support Apple car play), and the navigation desperately needs some love. The worst things are: - no support for roundabouts: it's really ha

I agree we're measuring things wrong, here are only two examples: - it's good for a company to sell a ton of crappy cloths that don't last long and the production of which has terrible environmental impact - it's good to

I don't think it is about the $8. Previously, China outsourced social and ecological cost of producing iPhones and other technology. That outsourcing is not covered in the price. Recent political changes in China such as environmental

France already has an excellent research system, and the phrase "create its own MIT" is ambiguous at best: This is mainly about branding to increase international visibility of the institutions.

Please, improve Powershell. The interface is lacking mainly because: - it's not scrolling fast enough - it's easily possible to send processes to the background (and job management) I'd really like to use Powershell on window

This is great! I think that some time in the future, FPGA will be a vital part for data processing. In theory, an application with a computation-heavy task could program the FPGA to provide part of that task in hardware (think the hot inner

The first graphics clearly shows that the 0.1% increased their wealth disproportionately in the recent years. It does not show this for the 9.9%, so I'm not quite able to follow the conclusion.

I agree wholeheartedly that writing needs a lot of practice. I feel that in science the craftmenship that is necessarily involved is usually underrated (or taken for granted). Personally, I find clarity and focus the most important qualitie

The point is that the galaxy shows that dark matter exists /independently/ (i.e. as its own particles) of normal matter. This is huge. Up until now, there was a branch of physics that tried to explain dark matter as a phenomenon t
