I agree we're measuring things wrong, here are only two examples:
- it's good for a company to sell a ton of crappy cloths that don't last long and the production of which has terrible environmental impact
- it's good to produce a ton of low quality eggs and sell them
- anonuser123456 8y ago"low quality" by what standard? Someone bought them, so they must have met the standard of the purchaser. Sure, externalities are a problem, but the ability of the market to deliver quality doesn't seem to be.
