They of course react totally wrong to WikiLeaks. Should they close the site down, arrest Assange or something similar, the same will happen, as with any BitTorrent-site take down: Two new ones will appear tomorrow.

Did anyone try this? It seems to me that audio is not the best format to teach a programming language..

good point. i usually just display the pic, snap a screenshot and all metadata is gone. if it is scaled it obfuscates blurred things, too.

Useful post! Does anyone know: Is it recommended to mount a directory via sshfs? My idea: Mount whole server filesystems into /mnt/servers/<server_ip> ... and then conveniently work with it using desktop tools. Can it be done? What

The apps are cool, but isn't posting these links a bit spammy?

Yes, but the implications are very interesting I think. There'll be demand for new solutions eventually. Both on Search-side and on the micro-blogging front. What will those solutions be?

I feel old-fashioned. I still use a piece of paper and a pen to jot down ideas. Not a fancy Moleskine book either, just one or two Sheets of A4 folded twice. I feel productive. What do you think is the secret for Workflowy's success? Is it

I quickly did this with Stylebot for Chromium: http://min.us/iErKG.png :) I'm sure other readers of this thread can come up with something much nicer. Perhaps you should offer a challenge for who can make the best one. But I already prefe

Well for one, fonts. Make it look better, I don't know how, I'm no designer, but it looks like it's been done by a programmer. It's ok, but it can be gorgeous! Also perhaps underline the search results. It should be clearer what is clickabl

That's good news. Recently I've been unhappy with the amount of spam in Google search results, so I switched to DDG and it's been great so far. I've started to recommend it to others. It's also surprisingly good with finding German websites

Failed attempt to describe it by TechCrunch: http://techcrunch.com/2010/11/12/tumblr-1540-percent-pagevie... I'd say design, wording, layout etc. make Tumblr much more hip than the more business-like posterous. Compare their about-pages:

I don't see a reason to up-vote that post. I guess you don't feel the incredible urge to make things. Perhaps making things is not for you then. I don't think its laziness, it's simply that you don't NEED to do anything.

Ha! I think this is a good idea, but not for software developers. Most developers, the ones you want to work with anyway, enjoy programming and they also take pride in their work and thus will fix programming errors without any extra incent
