How does this work if you’ve never done business with the company or ever intend to? If I get a random email from a company with a tracking pixel, am I ‘doing business’ with them? If a friend shares my name and number with an app, am I doin

I wonder if access to better transportation options plays a role in their higher population density. I don’t know enough about Japan to really make any calls towards that though.

As someone whose gotten pretty involved in advocacy work in the city, this is the sad chain of events that I can imagine might work(Probably not within 30days though): 1. Contact the local community board where the business is and try and s

There are many little things that depend on what you’re trying to address. In my case, a few of the most helpful things I do now are: - Focused box breathing for ~5-10 minutes several times throughout the day to relieve tension in my body.

If you’re interested, you should check out ‘Ortho Bionomy - A path to self care’ by Luann Overmyer. She touches a lot on what you were just saying. Often, people expect to do whatever they want and then go to doctors to ‘fix’ them. It’s goo

Right. The method has it’s own flaws, but it’s still another layer of insulation. Someone getting your email off a large user data breach is less likely to pick out your name and attempt to reverse engineer that pattern specifically for you

This isn’t just good against spam. If there’s a data breach on the site, it’s another layer of insulation against you and other accounts you own. It’s close to the equivalent of Apple allowing you to sign up to services using one of their a

What makes this even scarier is the amount of technological incompetence the people have who are monitoring these things. As far as I know, there’s no legal equivalent to HIPAA(which itself only scratches the surface of things) for ensuring

In cities like NYC, I don’t think you’d see any buildings accept robots carrying unidentified packages in, at least within the next couple decades. Considering people also still often steal iPhones and other electronics to pawn off, I can

For small companies, I feel like checking out how many people used to work there(and when they left) on LinkedIn vs. how old the company is works as a really great metric. If you’re looking at a 100 person company that appears to have more
