So what's a good score? I got just under 50% and was considered a "Working Practitioner." Not as high as I'd have hoped, but I'm in a hurry to get home.

I do find that I'm not nearly as productive working from home as I am working elsewhere. There are far too many distractions. If I do work from home, the best way for me to get work done is if I'm sitting at my kitchen table, whic

What about working in a public library? The one near me has no problem with someone setting up a laptop for a day, has plenty of plugs, never a line for the bathroom, and provides a quiet working space.

I like this idea so much that I built something very similar for the web two months ago. It's out there, but I never officially launched it. App looks great, and the idea is great. Good stuff.

I don't know. I got laid off 18 months ago. HR did it to my face (bringing in a small group of people at a time). It sounded almost identical to this, tone and everything. More realistic than parody.

One of the reasons the MS stack gets a bad rap is that it has been adopted by a lot of enterprises and a lot of poor developers. You can write something inefficient in any stack, but it seems like there's a larger proportion of unskill

Supporting IE7 is the worst part of my day job. I end up building new modules in Firefox, making sure they look the same in Chrome, then testing IE7. Then I have to fix all the stuff broken in IE7 and ensure it still looks good on the moder

That is a very broad statement. At the time there seemed like lots of people were very interested in 3D TV. I still know people who are interested in it. The issue lies in that the vocal people here are a minority, just like before. If ther

3D TV did not catch on at home. I'm not sure the mainstream market is ready for this. Personally, when I'm watching a movie I don't want to be wearing a headset the whole time. It also feels like it would serve to make me fee

There are a few things I want to know about when looking at job posts: tech stack, target salary, what the company is, and a small list of perks. This will give me an idea of what the office environment is like. I hate it when job postings
