We switched to Groove from Zendesk (which was awful). We're happy with it. I do wish it had better reporting. It also has occasional hiccups (missing emails, report numbers inconsistent). Helpscout looks promising.

Correlating VC investment to promise is a bit of a leap. Identifying hot VCs by the number of promising startups in their portfolio, when "promise" is based on VC investment, is a bit crazy.

To your point, I think we've already see a lot of products that chip away at email, but we're unlikely to see full replacement. Email is the lowest common denominator way of sending something over the internet. Lots of my tasks st

They published an index on Github. It would likely be a more responsible way to access this versus hammering their API. https://github.com/metmuseum/openaccess

This article misses the point. Alexa is interesting because it's a new user interface (voice + always listening), not because it's "an AI". Imo, it's the biggest UI jump since the touchscreen phone. The tech that en

No one dismissed your complaint. I presented the developer point of view. If you honestly think that a single popup makes an app deserve of a 1 star rating regardless of anything else, I disagree. It's like being a single issue voter.

No one said nag. People seem to be be assuming the worst possible behaviour. Asking once with a "Don't ask again" and "Later" option is pretty standard. The original post said a popup is annoying enough to deserve a

Please don't give an app a 1 star review just because they ask for a review. Apple and Android have made ratings incredibly important, and the vast majority of happy users never take the time to review. You get some happy users rating,

I doubt much. Aurora looks more like those engines running on an EFS disk than a major rewrite of the storage engines themselves. They need to disable some features to make concurrent readers on the same network disk work. I'm sure it&

Yeah, but max 20 Lightsail servers per month. No big clients will be able to use this to export/leave.

This is the first cheap bandwidth option I've seen on AWS. Transferring 1TB out of S3 or EC2 is costs about $90, but is included in a $5 server with Lightsail.

ReactNative wraps up the native controls, often with lowest common denominator APIs that work across iOS + Android. You can get a basic app up and running quickly, but when you want to do something more advanced it really slows you down.
