You have the 1950s approach: we hire a hard working person amd after 5 years of internship they will become great. Most companies nowadays offer zero on the job training. You need 5 years of experience for your internship. You are supposed

Why do the scientists velieve that using a "quick test" that checks only part of DNA is good? Wouldnt it be better to do full sequencing, instead of this ITS test? Especially if that part is mutating quickly. If they want to move

Any junior banker can produce a spreadsheet for you that will claim anything you want - it is called Management Consulting. Anyway, since you know better how those big companies can invest, you can use your own money to reap the benefits. M

> Xenon is unique among psychedelic drugs because it’s a pure element. It leaves the body exactly as it entered, completely unchanged. I very doubt it is true. The article poorly hand waves later that a brain without oxygen will starve.

I was recently looking at a 15 year old manual for an appliance. It had a sales recepit attached. Despite being put inside some papers, in a plastic case and then in a binder (kept in the closet)... the recepit just evaporated. The print is

The cool / mischevious kids will still bring phones to school, while life of the calm kids will be made miserable. Story old as time. Fascinating that people here cant predict it.

Disposable garbage cameras aside.. World population was around 3 billion in 1960s, now it is more than 8 billion. More people means more plastic is manufactured. Note: I dont say anything against recycling, in fact we should do it.
