Thomas Sowell is a great great thinker. People do not study his work because it doesn't fit well with MMT and the micromanaging of an economy. Not because he is black. This obsession with race is ridiculous.

When the SAT / ACT are thrown out and companies are no longer hiring based on merit, but other characteristics, is it any wonder that people would think that hard work doesn't matter? These people are one step away from thinking a

Most people in crypto do not understand anything about economics. They understand ponzi/ greater fool theory and how to obfuscate to the public and regulators to pull the wool over someone's eyes.

I think that will be a big topic that government will try to solve. I think they will offer policies that help inequality directly in housing, giving away homes to those that qualify, further pushing up home prices ultimately.

It is mind blowing that we can't guess private keys easily, although probably depends on how the wallet is made. Good idea for an app.

Real estate might be the best play for the average joe. Where else can you borrow a ton of money at low interest rates for 30 years with a real asset (the house) as collateral? It is like a free call option, with government policies. If you

Expanding the money supply is making inflation worse, because that is the definition of inflation- expanding the money supply. Prices do not inflate, money supply inflates.

It wasn't a rounding error, the wind wasn't blowing, which is the problem with these renewables, they don't work when the wind doesn't blow. If you are really open to a different framework for analyzing energy policies,

I suppose grad students can also be paid for TA'ing a class, maybe that is way you mean. I find it ridiculous. If you want to pay them, then they shouldn't get free tuition. Free tuition is part of their unspoken 'pay.'

Knowing the law would help clarify to you what justifies using it and when it does not for self defense. You don't go looking for situations that call for self defense, that is the opposite of self defense, usually.

Slippery slope for proponents of bitcoin to slip bitcoin into the curriculum. Imo financial concepts should have been taught along with math, because math is pretty boring to most students the way it is taught currently.

Ponzi's themselves are not illegal, but a descriptive term. I think what makes a ponzi scheme illegal is the existence of fraud, or lying about where the returns come from, not necessarily where the returns come from.
