They will lose me as well if they try it here in the US. I pay for multiple screens for a reason.. if they try and restrict this to specific devices and locations … value proposition changes and I am out.

Agree with the premise here. Not sure what the attraction of downtown urban areas are anymore. I live about 2.5 hours from Chicago... and it is a shell of its former self. Crime is a real problem. What is the draw anymore? Expensive, o

Google is restricting the number of questions you can ask and so is Microsoft. Already we see big players trying to “dumb” down and control responses. I really hope opensource alternatives make a real impact in this space soon.

Mircosoft's implementation of ChatGPT in Edge (Dev) is weak. They have really neutered its ability and length/number of queries you can ask it. It also tries to sprinkle in some web suggestions as well. This is worrisome because

Its funny to watch "progressive" mega corporations like Starbucks, Apple, Amazon + more skirt around unions. Essentially they use PR to say we are all for these corporate safe progressive topics... but any topics of worker rights

Identity formation is an complex and fascinating subject in human development. As an educator and father of three can also chime in with my own personal experience. I believe that many (if not most) people do not have a fully formed identi

I agree think honestly there is room for middle ground here. Crypto didn’t stop humans from being humans. There are always people trying to make a quick an easy dollar. The tech really has little do with this aspect of human behavior.

Sadly this what happens with the “equity” push is public schools. There is no way to have “equalized” outcomes without dumbing down the content. This means less advanced courses. It’s sad because somehow the idea of equal opportunity has
