Game dev isn't my field, I always find it fascinating though. Why can't Unreal handle something like CP2077? Could be an "explain like I'm five" - details would be cool but I'm not sure I would even fully unde

Exactly! Still blows my mind to this day. Maybe because "falling" is such a simple thing and experienced by almost all land animals... and just changing a few properties can mean the difference of life or death. After learning abo

Sorta related... I just remember having my mind absolutely blown when I learned about terminal velocity. It never made sense to me as a kid how small things could fall from relatively greater heights yet humans couldn't do even a few

I don't maintain a repo of that size but I have to say this sounds more reasonable. I guess it totally depends on the project. I guess tons of PRs could be annoying _but_ if they are actually useful PRs, then it would be nice to have

Well sure, but I mean all of those ppl mentioned have an underlying motive. I don't see even them going "oh, today I'll try to incriminate a random person" lol. Their actions bring them notoriety.

I guess I'm thinking more on the "how will it be handled by detectives/lawyers/whoever is involved." I mean, say they found corporate secrets on your computer. You say "no idea how they got here but look at th

I could maybe see this working if you have a year or so to do it. Make it look like a game or something but copy incriminating stuff in the background. Then "tip" the authorities a year later, the person would probably forget all

You make a really good point. However, nobody would "frame" someone for deception's sake. There's gotta be an underlying motive. If the deception works to achieve that goal (or even 90% of it) I'd say its pretty s

I honestly think its just easy to hate on well-known companies. Wouldn't be surprised to find out that most posts that go that way are legit. On the other hand... I'd be more suspect of posts about random companies that pop out o

Well, how much more could realistically be built? I agree, not a fan of housing supply being kept artificially low... but as they say "someone has to have the beach houses." If there's only 100 units in a car-less block and

I have family in New England and this seems pretty accurate. Still lock doors tho :) But its small enough that there's only a few "big" crimes a year which becomes the town gossip. This mostly involves some superintendent e

I agree with what you're saying. There are things exclusive to each location. I guess that's why I say "all things the same" because well, for us at least, we spend a lot of time at home. I wasn't even factoring a

How do you figure? Only way this seems plausible is if you constantly opt to buy two brand new cars as soon as you finish paying them off, for the rest of your life. In my searching for a place, you're looking at a 1.5-2k premium for

Why can't it be both? By moving there, you're effectively signaling you don't have a car. Those without cars (all else being equal, not sure why it wouldn't be) will have extra money. If the place is desirable, what i

Yep. 100%. Doesn't matter how good the graphics or pricing is, if there's a delay between inputs you've certainly ruled out almost every multiplayer game and most single player games.
