There should be higher limits, but one reason there are limits is so that really wealthy people can't shield all their money from future taxes; we need to let people of more modest means get more gain though. Maybe you could have taxes

Who would be coerced if I could run whatever software I wanted? Oh, the precious apple corporation? They are coerced all the time by legal restrictions. I'm just asking them to stop blocking it. I'm hoping anti-trust law will come

Actually the web browser is exactly one of the things that microsoft had to change to reduce their enforced market dominance. They made microsoft stop forcing IE down everyone's throat. It's eerie how similar the iphone browser si

I disagree. i just want to run firefox or chrome directly and completely without using apple's unnecessary & required piece of safari on ios. Let people run the whole web browsing app, if they want to. I'm skeptical of any sig

I think a challenge of pixels and android in general is they don't seem to care about how well older hardware works with new os releases (or even some updates). I have an iphone se and it seems to work just fine after installing multip

It would make sense that russia has ability to destroy roads, and airbases, but why aren't they using these effectively when attacking Ukraine? It's a lot smaller than all of Europe, should be easier to figure it out.

How long until the UK could stomach a vote to try to go back? The tories won't consider that, but if labor comes back into power, would they want to immediately try to reverse that vote, what a mindfield.

Wow, thanks for posting that. I wasn't away RMB was not used that much up to now. US + Euro is 9/12 of that trading on the imf.org link. 9/12, 75%! Maybe a little of that could switch to rmb in trading with china, but as chin

I understood the article above saying we could finishing colonizing most of the galaxy in little time, say 1000 years. But the galaxy is much larger than 1000 light years so without FTL travel (impossible afawk), that's why I said you

I strongly disagree, it's not beyond the dreams of humans to travel a few light years away with generational starships. How are you going to travel all the way across the galaxy without faster than light travel. We could send humans in

There's not a magic thing, but you have a sequence of things that need to be addressed. Inexpensive young child care, less expensive schools, time off from your job without penalty to encourage having kids, make it triply so for women.
