I upvote this, because you probably mean in this specific case and in this specific country. But my personal experience with the police here where I live is *very different* from the stories I hear from the US.

I‘m not good in JavaScript, but reading the code, I wonder if this implementation doesn’t have an issue with truthiness in the second array. For example if you zip([true, true],[false, false]). The minimum length approach seams to be the bett

I read an article about gardening being a great source of anti depression. Not only the activity, but also the bacterias in the soil, which we are deprived of in our modern society with it's hygiene and antibiotics. These bacterias liv

Yes, that type of thing is pretty useful for linters. These error codes act as identifiers if you need to google them and whenever you need to configure the linter the way you like it or for one-off exceptions.

I don't think I have ever read something negative about SQLite. I also don't read the GP comment as being negative toward SQLite. It sounds more like the author was surprised about the architecture, since a naive view would think

For me it’s definitely about writing out the operators names. I’m German, I often use a German keyboard layout. I have never been good with Greek math symbols other than pi and SUM and PRODUCT. How am I supposed to write the APL or BQN symb

There are batteries with jumper cables for 50 to 100 USD. You can load them up, have them in the trunk and use them whenever you need them. This doesn't help your problem in the past, but maybe problems in the future. Helped me a lot i

I feel like you're asking an XY-problem [0]. You want to have better information answering your problems (for free) and they criticise the question you asked. Pay them to be nice. This will also give value to their answers, since clear

I really try to like git rebase, especially git rebase -i and at one time I even used a special tool to help with that. What I find is that I see a lot more merge conflicts than in Gitlab MRs, but it could also be that the tooling on my mac

Just the other day my wife misread our bread roll recipe and added too much water to the flour. I'm glad, I know bakers math and I'm good at mental arithmetic, so the dough could be rescued easily.

The part about building on top of Postgres… the author does talk about something similar to pub sub, not abusing a table to sort tasks by create_date, correct? Because I’ve built my own “task queue” on top of “SELECT * FROM tasks WHERE done
