A huge part of addiction is the rituals surrounding the use of the addicting stimuli, not just the immediate gratification of the stimuli. I recently watched a video of a decades long heroin addict describing his life. He said that he came

I'm not invested in crypto or really at all interested in it. That said, my mentor seems pretty excited about it and is pretty heavily invested as of the past few months. I advised him to do something like https://en.wikip

No. It will lead to a terrible Nash equilibrium as far towards the donor class's interests as possible while still giving the voters the illusion of choice and enough of a quorum to provide airs of legitimacy.

There is almost no voter fraud. And all verified instances I've read about have been from Trump/Republican voters. There does seem to be fairly common election fraud, though.

Exactly. I think it is hard for someone who has never lived here and especially those that have never "slummed it" and had very rich friends to grasp the vast vast heterogeneity of this country.

I'm not asked to or rewarded for it. I don't even get performance reviews. In the past I've seen the effort I put into documenting and architecting rot swiftly when things are handed over to others. That said, I do documen

We're not talking about the nuclear family in opposition to single parents or blended families. We're talking about it in opposition to extended and clan families. Which is why I explicitly mentioned extended ("broader"
