So much of many people's digital identity depends on Google/Apple (or FB/Twitter/etc). This is a huge dependency problem. Clearly Google doesn't want to do support, but this seems like an opportunity to me. If they

I agree. Marketing is hard. With nearly zero Twitter followers, posting to Twitter is a black hole. Even posting to reddit is posting to a black hole unless you get really lucky (lots of upvotes and engagement). It's a chicken and egg

Yeah, the old design could perform better if it loads faster and has an easier to find CTA (order button). Wonder if OP could A/B test the two designs?

Niantic has received a lot of (warranted IMO) criticism. That said, they did make some positive improvements during the Covid era: They increased the interaction radius for Pokestops & Gyms. They actually reverted it (at the "end&q

Yeah, Costco has OK selection and OK/good prices. The downside for groceries is the bulk sizing can be much more than you want to buy. Their return policy is also very good. Obviously do not abuse this (or you are being a jerk). This

Shopping for appliances is not easy. For my recent purchase, I looked at wirecutter as a starting point and bought from Costco. Also I got a 3rd party extended warranty (since you never know with water-using appliances). According to Wirecu

While I don't like how annoying Apple is with service upselling (iCloud, Music, Arcade), at least they moved iPhone backup from iTunes to Finder. So their local iPhone backup process is being maintained over time. I don't have iss

Streaming services have no pretense of ownership. You can watch whatever they happen to have as long as you keep paying. When you buy a title on Amazon, Apple, etc., the digital services are selling you on "ownership". In theory,
