The setup flow is hit or miss. With some banks, it was seamless to setup. With another bank, it wasn't clear how to finish setting up Apple Pay. I don't recall if I called them or went through their app to actually set it up. It w

Carriers & phone makers need something to talk about for marketing. The iPhone 12 was unremarkable, so they had to lean on 5G as a reason to upgrade. 5G in my experience (latest iPhone 13 Pro on one of the largest US carriers) is broken

That's a good point, but 12:40am is a very unusual flight time? That's almost 1am. I would guess most flights are in the ballpark of 7am - 9pm. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

12a vs 12p is pretty confusing. Appending noon or midnight is super helpful in calendar apps. E.g., "12p (noon)" or "12a (midnight)" Self plug: I built a super simple visualization page to help figure out which is which

Yeah, these X years ago photo memories are cool. When I use my DSLR, I try to take a lot of photos with the intention of picking a few good ones later. These sit in storage and I usually don't see them again. As you said, it's a

Two factor is a challenge with development (for IAP sandbox) accounts. I have to be careful to constantly not turn on two factor for test accounts. The iPhone will keep prompting me to opt-in, but I don't have several spare phone num

What is the precheck card? From my anecdotal experience, your boarding pass may have TSA precheck mark. This has been sufficient for me to go into the TSA precheck line (vs regular default line). Also, I usually see a person at the precheck

While Apple's sign on sounds good on the surface, the reality is more user confusion. For each app, you have a new button to consider / remember which one you used: * Login with email * Login with Google * Login with Facebook * Lo

Agreed, the technology is really impressive, but it makes no sense to own (in Los Angeles) since it's heavily restricted for hobbyists. (Kind in mind I support safe flying and I'm not advocating for the wild west.)
