Amazon, most people got trivial market adjustments. 1-2% increases when cola was way above that for social security has realistically translated to paycuts which are compounded further with poor stock performance and sign-on bonuses startin

Propaganda piece from economists. Hello CBRE. I'm part of the demographic they claim and it couldn't be further from the truth for me. In remote env, if your seniors (management or peers) opt for their productivity 100% over train

Just an anecdote and not necessarily representative of the majority, in certain areas, teaching has taken on cult-like characteristics. Teachers engage in a radical cycle of self-sacrifice, constantly striving for virtuous superiority over

I'm curious what people think about tiktok' plans. They vowed to move data into us soil and have external audits. It came across as actual good faith compromises from my perspective.

I noticed this too, but it sincerely just seems like self preservation. Should the US government come after me after being lobbied by Meta and other conglomerates I surely would be "loud" about it too.

I've seen a handful of seniors already quit and some of the best L8's/directors openly distressed with no lever to improve morale. Many teams are now down to the idea guys. Amazing leadership from the top. Layoffs, RTO, stock

How do you find out what kind of city a place is? This might seem downright stupid to say, but I don't even know what types to even be looking for.

In all likelihood a 75k number was output to an equation where there are two earners making that because I agree the 125 to 150 range is where households begin independence now. Anecdotally, I've debated this with friends and often tim

A pedagogical choice wouldn't clip the wings of talented students to make others feel better. This is 100% DEI morals and it can be criticized for using race and ethnicity as a deterministic factor of hypothesized quality. This is race

Fair enough, I did not concisely or accurately demonstrate that wages adjusted for cpi have returned to ~2019 levels which in my mind seems stagnant.
