> Proving that you can treat "processing one event" as globally atomic was the funnest thing in grad school. Uh? I guess it depends on what 'atomic' means but in the real world that isn't the case.

Sure, but I wanted to have an "always opened" subwindow like da_rob has implemented. I wonder why I haven't been able to find it before, I've tried!

VSCode has a vertical 'subwindow' on the left which list all the opened tabs. I call this 'a tab view/list', I don't know what's the real name. Usually I have between 10 and 20 tab opened, so the tablist i

Nice customisation, but it still doesn't have the 'list of tab' vertical window that VSCode has, and I'll never switch to an editor which doesn't have this. Even if I find VSCode not very responsive..

Zig has the unsigned int with the nice overflow/UB behaviour. Symmetric int + Int_NAN sounds nice but the performance cost..

Minimal.. It depends! I remember that the developpers behind GMP (a GNU library for bignum) weren't happy with the performance! But that's pretty niche..

? No! INT_MIN +1 is 'implementation defined behaviour' but that's a very different thing.

Maybe. If I remember well, Apple ARM M1 can decode up to 8 instruction at the same time, is-there any RISC-V CPU with the C extension which is able to decode 8 instructions?

Good point, you could have + * / restricted to basic types, but have #* #+ #mod_add as (overloadable) operators.
