For years now I've set the font in various IDEs and terminals to Px437 ATI 9x16 at font size 16 from int10h as well: https://int10h.org/oldschool-pc-fonts/fontlist/#ati_gfx I love the pixel perfect goodness.

Eh... I've been on Ubuntu 18.04 for about 1.5 years now on my Dell Precision 5510. Zero problems, all hardware works out of the box. Suspend and hibernate still works flawlessly.

Reminds me of the time way back where Futuremark confirmed Nvidia was cheating on synthetic benchmarks by doing something similar except in reverse where they would degrade texture quality and use other tricks to artificially inflate scores
