That's why I mentioned glass. The parent stated «I don't know anyone who has "scratched" their phone screen.» The parent also asked if sapphire could be shattered or cracked. My response to both comments is probably what confused you.

You have a good point. I suspect, as sources of profiling data, Reader, Alerts, Wave, Buzz, etc. were not producing at the level of search and mail. Plus is to be seen, but it's already descending below the level of discourse on Facebook.

Sapphire has been used for watch crystals (and increasingly for case backs) for quite a while now. My "precious" digital camera has a sapphire cover on the LCD. It's interesting what they're doing in terms of shapes beyond sheets and simpl

You're right, I had absolutely no doubt that smiling-guy was involved. I thought it especially harsh since you can CSI his name from his badge in about ten seconds with Imagemagick or MS Paint.

In the USA and most commonwealth countries, there are conditions that can eliminate your reasonable expectations of privacy. Sitting in the middle of a bunch of people means that any one of them is free to repeat what you have said. I don'

I would like to think it's a temporary overcorrection. With the gender imbalance in higher education swinging the other way, one hopes that enough glass ceilings are eliminated that we can normalize to a state where "legitimate harassment"

You can write Smalltalk and Lisp outside of an IDE but you really wouldn't want to do so. You end up missing much of the power of the systems. Think of the IDE as part of your exocortex. Leverage it for the junk you don't need so you can
