IMHO all 3 major cloud providers are overpriced if you have just a simple service. Go with something simpler like Hetzner or DigitalOcean, Vultr, or better yet fly.io or similar if you can. AWS especially will just suck you in with all the

Word through the grapevine on Masto is they went looking for instances to federate with and pay them and people wouldn't partner up with Meta on principle.

You’re not the only one, I read several books a month and I could never for the life of me stick with poetry — it’s just painful. I was also forced to read poetry in school but I’m not sure that’s really the cause.

With high privacy jurisdictions such as Delaware, New Mexico, Wyoming, etc. they're essentially keeping the german tax authority in the dark about the ownership of those LLCs, which might change now with the new US mandated filing with

Germany has CFC & management and control rules. Those LLCs are treated as german companies in the eyes of the Finanszamt if their UBO (Ultimate Beneficiary Owner) has a german tax residency and is managing the company from germany. Sorr

I don’t disagree with you that nobody should have that happen to them and it’s horrible, but you’ve yet again disingenuously implied that Germany is some Nazi utopia where people are set alight on the street. Bad things happen everywhere. D

Your comment is a bit tongue in cheek: it’s a process with checks and balances everywhere in the developed world, and scams aren’t common at all. You’re insinuating that due to the bureaucracy Germany is somehow better at this; it is not, i

This is such a cop out. You shouldn’t complain about the process of incorporating and buy a ready made one?! This is just encouraging middlemen and lessening pressure on the government to actually work for your money! I’m guessing you’ve ne

Excellently put, I couldn’t agree more! If you’re an entrepreneur AML will cause you nothing but harm while the rich avoid it through the caribbean, Luxembourg, Monaco, Switzerland, etc.
